After winning the competition, 9/11 rescure dog cloned 5 times

A dog who was hailed for his heroism during the 9/11 terrorist attacks has been cloned.

Scientists said they have successfully produced five puppies who are genetic copies of Trackr, a German Shepherd who searched for survivors in the rubble of the World Trade Centre.

The puppies called Trustt, Valor, Prodigy, Solace and Deja Vu, are aged between two and six months.

The faithful hound died in April aged 16, but before he passed away his owner James Symington entered a contest that offered to clone a pet dog for free. It currently costs owners about £75,000 to clone their pet.

Trackr was judged to be the most ‘cloneworthy dog’ after the former police officer from Canada wrote an impassioned essay.

I am writing regarding my kind, compassionate and animal loving friend, Andrea Kopp, who has been victimized by an unscrupulous SPCA. See www.humanesocietyinc.com for more information concerning SPCA’s that do not operate like most in the United States. These are also called rogue SPCA’s and are not affiliated with the ASPCA and do not receive any government funding.

On March 1, 2009 her Persian and Himalayan cats were confiscated by the Ulster County SPCA, Kingston, NY, using non-conforming rules similar to those used by other Rogue SPCA’s in this country.
.
She is in a legal battle to have her cats returned to her. I am asking for donations to help with her legal bills. Any and all donations will be appreciated and will be used for legal fees. Both the cats and their owner is suffering due to their being displaced from one another. (This is cruelty to both the animal s and to the owner!!). Please donate in honor of her innocent pets who are suffering needlessly, living in cages and crowded conditions.
Every dollar will help to bring the cats back to their home…
